as someone whose IRL name is common as dirt, i find it anywhere from laughable to downright annoying when people declare that person A and person B are the same because of their names. don’t get me wrong, i LOVE crossovers and have no problem subbing one character in for another if it makes sense personality-wise (or even if it doesn’t make sense and the whole point is to examine the differences). but i think all these “crowley IS crowley!” people are just a little too obsessed with wrapping things up in a bow. it’s like how george lucas made anakin build C-3PO. like… really? was that really fucking necessary? does EVERYTHING have to be such a conspiracy??
bah.
as for fancasting, can i just say that i’m sick of seeing cumberbatch, hiddleston, freeman, etc in general? i get that they’re brilliant actors and super hot right now. but seriously. stop.
i can’t comment on the rest beause i’m not much of a fic-reader and i don’t watch teen wolf. *shrug* but yeah… generally it seems i’m on your side for all of this XD
